I was too happy while working on my review for Kim Soo. Seriously, this is the best thing I found in Seminyak (Seminyak is just overflowing with pretty little cafes or restaurants), and this one is just too special for me.
Kim Soo is basically has two different function; homeware shop and design space also integrated with small cafe, so you could enjoy your coffee or you can just look around the pretty shop, but I must recommend you to explore every inches of this shop, either just to takes some photos or to rip your wallet off here heehee.
The space itself are not quite big, and the shop space is bigger so the cafe can’t afford too many people. And with their monochrome and simple building design inspired by old Dutch architecture, their products look stand out more. Mostly, they offer ethnic and bohemian style products homewares and some fashion products. But you have to pick carefully because the price range is quite big, from Rp100.000,00 – Rp2.000.000,00 or more.
What I like the most from Kim Soo, instead of just displaying their products, they treat their products like it is part of their interior decoration. So sometimes I’m just confused which stuff is for sale or which one are not, because it fit so naturally that I almost forgot that this is a shop not somebody’s home instead heehee.
The staffs are so so so helpful and they don’t mind if you only want to take pictures or window shop instead. Actually, I planned only to take some pictures before, but I just can take the urge not to take this lovely hay ethnic clutch bag home with me (and it only priced Rp165.000,00). I spend about 1 hour at the shop (I want to try their coffee and deserts but unfortunately my stomach is says no, Ma’am you just ate 2 portion before), so yes, I will definitely come here again the next time I visit Seminyak.
